I built none of this with a marketing team, a sales department, or a content agency. Just me, a laptop, and a Claude Code window open most of the day.

The 25 skills in this repo are the exact operating system I run my businesses on. Not a course, not a framework — the working code I use myself. Every skill in here has been used to ship something real that's now collecting payments on Stripe.

This is not a hypothetical playbook. It's what's been running my company.

Show Me The Money is an open-source skill suite for Claude Code and compatible AI coding agents. It turns your AI assistant into a full-stack business operating system — discovering opportunities, validating demand, building products, running marketing, managing ads, operating everything autonomously, and remembering what you decided across every session.

✨ What's New in v2.8.0

The "content craft" release — /money-content and /money-social absorb a battle-tested short-video content methodology, generalized for every format:

• Topic Gate. Every topic passes a supply-demand test before a word is written: whose pain, who else covers it, and "the top 5 results already explain this — better how?" (only three valid edges: first-hand data, contrarian-but-correct, or plain-words translation). ~80% of performance is locked at topic selection.
• Information Density Scoring. Every sentence scored against calibrated anchors (80+ = a conclusion you can't hear anywhere else; <40 = filler), with pass thresholds per format and a fix priority: cut filler, then expand the buried high-scorer.
• One-Core Resonance Check. A piece that says six things says nothing — find the single core, catch the four failure modes (diluted core, unstated mechanism, stance drift, correct-but-flat), and say the thing readers privately believe but won't say publicly.
• Sell-real red line + hook craft. Never fabricate cases or numbers; hooks are typed (data vs emotional) and judged with the right ruler; 3-6 genuinely different candidates, never 10+.
• Content MVP testing ladder. Unproven topics get a free text post before an expensive video: bookmarks-vs-your-own-median decides promotion (post → thread → blog → video → paid) or a logged kill.

🎓 Complete beginner — guided tutorial (/money onboarding)

Don't know what to type? This mode assumes nothing and asks for nothing:

What the tutorial actually does:

1. Orientation — the whole system explained in 3 sentences (idea → strategy → product → customers → autopilot; you only ever need to remember /money)
2. Pick a demo persona — numbered choices with a default, so pressing Enter works:
   • 👩‍💻 a developer with 10 hrs/week · ✍️ a creator with 3k followers · ☕ a local café owner · 🙋 or your real situation

State files live in ~/.smtm/sessions/{project}/ (per-project, append-only) and ~/.smtm/reports/{project}/ (timestamped, never overwritten).

🔒 Privacy & Disclosure

• Everything stays local. All state the suite collects or generates — profiles, learnings, session checkpoints, usage telemetry — lives in plain markdown/JSONL under ~/.smtm/ on your machine. Nothing is ever uploaded. The suite's only network call is a silent npm version check (npm view), which fails quietly offline.
• Erase anytime. Delete ~/.smtm/ and every piece of collected data is gone.
• Interest disclosure. When a skill needs an AI API key, it may mention ccapi.ai as a convenience option. ccapi.ai is run by this suite's author. It is never required — your own API keys always work.
